Sleep Apnoea Forum Bringing Help + Support to the Patient

I have for sale a converter which allows the S9 machine, which requires a 24v supply, to run from a vehicle 12v or 24v DC socket, or direct from a 12v battery. The converter can power a humidifier and heated tube as well as the CPAP machine, although that obviously depends on battery capacity.

It was bought direct from ResMed in 2016 for a motorhome voyage in NZ and has only been used for that, plus a couple of nights in a tent (with a standard car battery) and a handful of times in our own motorhome when no mains supply was available. It comes complete with instructions, 12v cig-lighter type plug, and adaptor lead with battery clips. The same thing is for sale on eBay for over £100, a new one from ResMed is £64 delivered. You can have mine for £30 (PayPal, inc postage) or £28 cash on collection - I am in West Sussex.

Hi Bill, is the Resmed S9 DC converter still available?

I'm not sure how public this reply message is - however I'll "risk" using my phone number 07487706664.

I'm nr Woking, Surrey. Where are you in West Sussex?

Regards,

Glen

Glen, yes I still have the converter.

i am in Storrington, which is roughly between Worthing and Horsham.

Thanks for the fast reply. On the basis that its all 100% Ok and no physical damage then I would like to proceed with the postage option at £30, please*. How would you like to proceed, presumably off the forum given we'll get financial?

*I'd drive down but it would need to be priced at £20, sorry.

Regards, Glen 07487706664

Glen - apologies for not replying sooner, but my phone died. I now have a temporary fix (the replacement should arrive today anyway) so I will text you. I have also sent a message via the forum, but they are limited to 200 characters. PayPal or bank transfer will be best for payment. Thanks

Bill

I look forward to your text with payment account details. Either is Ok. I will reply with my address.

Regards,

Glen

"You could try that Maxine, but just a piece of material under the straps would at least let you know if it's the straps themselves causing the issue.  The softcap I mentioned is for using without the mask's headgear.  Good luck!…"
