Hi, it should actually read NIPPY not NIPPI, so I've just changed it! A CPAP was not strong enough to help with my "combination" apnea (i.e. obstructive and central brain apnea) caused by a brain haemorrhage - this one was best for me. Instead of continuous air pressure, the main difference with this one is that it's intermittent. It's very heavy and quite large - like a huge vanity case. A few people do seem to use them when I visit Papworth every year, though I'm not sure if they're still being made any more now.
