'The Food Hospital' is a ground-breaking new television series for Channel 4, based out of our unique clinic in London. Patients attending ‘The Food Hospital’ will be advised by the appropriate professionals including a GP, a specialist medical Consultant and a leading Dietitian. The team will prescribe specific diets for the treatment of the conditions using evidence-based, cutting-edge scientific research.
Over the course of their time at the Food Hospital, patients will have one or more consultations with the medical team. They may be required to take relevant medical tests and undergo a physical examination depending on the condition, throughout the process. The Dietician, in conjunction with appropriate members of the medical team, will work out what the best course of treatment is for each patient and advise them how to integrate the diet or specific foods into their life, if necessary. After this the patient will be monitored on their new dietary regime with follow-up appointments at the Hospital. These meetings, and the course of the diet, will be filmed as part of the programme.
