HI I'm going to a static caravan for the weekend do I need any special equipment for my chap machine or can I just plug into socket? Happy bank holiday.

A static caravan should have electrical power and sockets, however if it is remote it might not.
I would take an extension cable with you about 6mtrs long (twin sockets at the end) as the sockets are never where you want them. Twin extension sockets as it allows you to charge a phone or run a laptop from same cable. It does not need to be very heavy, 6amps should cover it with a bit to spare.
Same with going to hotels, the sockets are always at the other end of the room.
