Some manufacturers recommend replacing a mask every 6 months, but then they would wouldn't they?
More money in it for them.
I have had a mask for several years and as long as it is kept clean or does not go off colour it is fine.
If you feel your mask is needing replaced ask your Sleep Clinic (if NHS) they allow you a new mask every year.
Don't contact the manufacturer as you might end up paying for it if the clinic gets billed for it, they will have a contract with the manufacturer. If you are a private patient, it might be cheaper to look for one on Amazon or Ebay. But you might have little come back if things go wrong. Ask the seller before you buy.
I forgot to say that my last mask is showing signs of fatigue after a year and a half, so I got a replacement to use right away if it fails,. I like to have a back-up.
