Double inhaling
I have had problems with my Resmed S9 APAP staying at 20 cm for 2-3 hours at a time which wrecks me the next day.
This problem has been ongoing for many months and when I think I have fixed it it comes back
Using Sleepyhead I can see that during this spell of high pressure it looks like I am double inhaling.
Is this possible??

This is not the first time I have seen someone reporting a ResMed S9/S10 going to 20 and staying there!
I have not seen any solution to this yet, other than to disconnect the power and wait until the internal power runs down (20sec) but this may not apply to the UK anyway, we tend to turn off the power to these machines during the day anyway (unlike the Americans who leave everything on standby) so this might not be a solution.
I would look in the settings, but unless you know your way around, I would give this a miss. However, if you have the manual with it, it tells you how to do things in it, just look at what it is set at. I would limit the MAX pressure to say 16 to see what happens. You can always put it back. But it might be interesting to see what happens, the alternative is to go the the Sleep Clinic with it.

I would go for an S10 AUTO if you get offered it, it is a more compact machine.

After over 2 years of visiting the hospital and Resmed and with many posts on various forums I have found the answer.
Use my inhaler 4 hours later Simple !!!

The final answer is to change my mask back to a F & P Flexifit 432 which has reduced my 95% pressure by up to 4cm.. Last night my 95% pressure was 16.1 with a AHI of 0.6
