Advice on sores from head straps
Hi and thanks for the add.
My husband has got sores on the side and back of his head from his mask straps that aren't healing.
He's bald and they are are red, sore, weeping and crusty, not healing.
Has anyone experienced the same and managed to get them to heal, or prevent them.

Sorry to hear this Jenny. It sounds like he either has an allergy to the straps or he's having to fasten them too tight. If his mask is compatible, I would try the softcap headgear. In actual fact I use it myself with my FitLife as it's more comfortable. Here's an image and link to them on the website http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/softcap-alternative-headgear.html
Another option would be the Mask Neck/Cheek Strap Covers if the problem is at the back of his neck.

Thank you Kath :) I think I'll get him to have a look at the soft cap because it looks like it would cover the sores and prevent more.
