Change of Mask - What a difference
I had my annual MOT at the sleep clinic last week and got a new mask. This time Ive gone for the ComfortGel Blue Full instead of The Comfort full which has been having considerable leaks for a couple of months. What a differance no f*****g noises in the night and the wife not complaining..
I forgot to ask for then old one back as a spare though. Got the hose replaced as well & my System one was replaced by a serviced & calibrated one. Pity you're only allowed one per year unless it breaks!!! But at least I can get replacement cushion for this one.

Good to hear David. Did the clinic have the brand new Amara Mask in stock? Not sure if many of the clinics have them yet, but it's a really light mask and trials giving good results! What a pity you didn't remember to ask to bring your old mask back. Why on earth the clinics don't think to send them home with people is beyond me, as we never know when we may need one to fall back on. I got caught out once years ago

No they didnt have that one I asked , They were going to give me the same again till I asked what they had. The comfort gel blue was in a separate drawer to the rest so I suspect they dont normally offer it unless asked!!!!.
That is the benefit of being on here you keep us up to date with new stuff so cant be fobbed off by the technicians
The "new" machines humidifier seems a lot better than the last one as well, no dry mouth!
