cpap card
hi im thinking of buying one of the cpap medi cards to put in my walet but i dont know what my pressure is or how to find out do i have to contact my sleep nurse can anyone help thanks stu

Hi Stu. It's not essential to put your CPAP pressure on the medical card - the most important thing is that the card states you have Sleep Apnoea, then if (God forbid) you are ever in an accident they would monitor you very carefully. Your nurse will know what pressure you are on, but depending on which machine you have, you can usually see that in the LCD display. What machine do you have?

hi kath i have a ressmed s9 but dont know how to use it very well ! iv had it set by the sleep nurse now i just turn it on and off !!!!!!

Well, at least you know the important things......how to turn it on and off ;) It's a while since I've used that machine, but just try this:- Press the 'I' on the right of the screen for Information and use the dial to scroll through the information. It might be in there?

Yes. If you're on APAP setting there'll be 2 settings displayed (minimum and maximum) or if it's on CPAP just one number.
