Hello everyone, I purchased a atom pro power pack as we are going off grid for a week. I charged it up and used it last night started at 12.15 am and at 5.30 am it had drained the battery. Would anyone know why.
I use a resmed machine with humidifier and heated hose. All replies welcome
Thankyou

That's normal Cheryl with any battery, including an expensive CPAP one, as very few batteries are powerful enough to run a CPAP machine with a heated humidifier and a heated hose. The Atom is very powerful and will usually allow the use of a humidifier as long as you're able to re-charge the battery each day, but not with a heated hose as well, and it depends on what your CPAP pressures run at. Auto pressures use up more power too. If you see this message in time, turn off the heated hose tonight and see how long you get with just the humidifier running. Most of us don't use our humidifier with a battery and use the Xylimelts or a dry mouth spray to help with a dry mouth.
Resmed are one of the worst for draining power, but you can get a Resmed DC converter from Resmed which will give longer use although won't get it in time for this trip. I have one myself for the times when re-charging each day is a problem.
I'll copy you this from the website and see the end of the first paragraph too.
