here most of us have had a home sleep study to confirm osa for the hospitals, good
however these studys do not pick up on csa
you need a proper study to confirm csa and are being conveniently being denied proper diagnosis
osa is not a disability according to authorities but csa is a disability, not that i wish you had csa
all who have not had a proper sleep study should say i have csa and put the onus on others to prove otherwise so that we can claim disability.

99, a good Home Sleep Study should show up central apnoeas or certainly the likelihood of them, assuming it shows multi-track channels, tracking movement via nasal cannula and chest movement showing respiratory effort. I was tested at home on one of my tests when they were specifically looking for centrals. Obviously a Finger Pulse Oximetry Sleep Study wouldn't show up centrals, and my opinion is that if Finger Pulse Oximetry is used to diagnose, then a further in-depth study should be taken afterwards.
