Discontinued Respironics Masks - GoLife, Profile Lite + Comfort Classic

For those who haven't read their latest newsletter (anyone not on the newsletter list can subscribe here on this link Newsletter Subscription), 3 Philips Respironics masks are now officially 'retired' and no longer be available.  Your sleep clinics may still have remaining stock for a while though and we have just a few left.  These masks are:-
GoLife (http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/84)
Profile Lite (http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/60)
Comfort Classic (http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/54) and I have placed links to them for you to view on the website if you need further clarification of whether one of them is the mask you use. I have pictured them so you can identify if these are the masks you currently use, and have also put images of good alternatives, which many users of the 'retired' masks have already changed over to with great (often better) success.  Of course there are also lots of other masks out there and by different manufacturers.

Links to alternative masks:-
Nuance Nasal Pillows (alternative for GoLife) http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/121
Wisp Nasal (alternative for Profile Lite or Comfort Clasic) and great if you wear glasses for reading http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/103
Amara Gel Full Face (pictured as the newest full face version which is getting excellent reviews since the gel version came to the UK) http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/products/101

Philips Respironics and the other mask manufacturers, are always constantly working to bring out new and improved masks for us all. As a CPAP user for approx 10 years I can confirm masks have come on leaps and bounds during this time and this will continue.

Please bear in mind I am speaking for the UK and Europe, so please check in your own country as to how long the above masks will be available for.  The childrens versions of the Profile Lite will still be available in the UK until the summer.

That's a shame, my mate just got a GoLife mask (Nasal pillows) now he will have to try to find something else once the spares dry up. You would think that new masks would be better but it is not always the case.
The Nasal Pillows I use can't be had in this country now  :-(

Yes it's always concerning when masks are discontinued, as even when they're not proved to be really popular, there are always people who do get good success with them.  Regarding the GoLife though the truth is that all the customers we have that changed to the Nuance when it came out do much prefer it.  In fact if I could use nasal pillows masks myself, it's the one I'd be using.  I've told Respironics that if they ever discontinue the FitLife (the one that works best for me) I'll fall out with them big style

Maybe I should ask to try the Nuance Nasal Pillows then.

I use old Nasal Pillows held together with insulation tape and patched up old parts.

Bit like me really falling to bits!

Airsense 10 -humidifier runs dry

Hi. I'm finding the Airsense 10 the hospital gave me, the humidifier chamber runs dry. It's not even on max settings, which I'm guessing would empty it a lot quicker. Seems like a big design oversight to me. Does anyone else have this trouble? The…See More
