This sounds very much like UARS (Upper Airways Resistance Syndrome). There's a good explanation on it here by Dr Steven Park's, and he goes into much more detail in his book 'Sleep Interrupted' which we sell on the website (which reminds me I need to order more as there's only 1 left). http://onforb.es/mOJ8TK

Very interesting Martin currently has a fixed brace as he has overcrowding of his teeth he also has a narrow upper jaw and sleeps on his tummy ...... He was given nasoflex by Ent as they said he had nasal obstruction ....... I have the downloaded version of Dr Parks book I just havent read it in depth will need to go look through it when I have a spare hour or so
Martin will be going to see respiritory after referral from GP is processed so will let you know what I find out

Get reading THE BOOK ;) Look forward to hearing about it. Both our kids I am sure have UARS, if not OSA, but neither of them will entertain the idea just yet (they're 16 and 25). However, our 25 year old has promised she'll get checked out before she considers trying for a baby.
