Hi I'm new to cpap nearly 2 weeks into therapy and feel really tired has anybody felt like this? Or is it normal to feel like this when new to cpap?

Sometimes the tiredness can feel worse Ruth if you're having some interrupted sleep when new to CPAP.  I definitely felt like that.  Although I'd been diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea I slept through it all, whereas when I was first struggling with CPAP I kept waking up and felt worse until I finally got comfortable with my therapy.  Some people are lucky to have an over-night success, but for most of it takes some time to feel the benefits.

It is quite normal, some feel it interrupts sleep due to using the machine and mask, turning over can disturb you with the mask moving and leaks.  Give it a month or two and you should start to feel a lot better.  If not contact your Sleep Clinic, the nurses there are usually quite good with advice.

My first 2 weeks starting CPAP were the hardest, but my sleeping started to improve as I adjusted.

Hang it there...you should find it gets better.

For me wearing the mask is now rouyine.
