Newbie to Hope2Sleep
Hi,
I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea 3 years ago, after my hubby said that I stopped breathing in my sleep and then snored loudly. Strangely, I didn't have any of the other symptoms associated with S.A. My G.P. got me an appointment with the Sleep Clinic at our local hospital, where I received my diagnosis.
I really dislike wearing my mask, but persevere, as I know it's beneficial for my health.

Tricia, welcome, we all have different symptoms and associated illness's form SA but the one thing we have in common is we stop breathing. Lots of people dislike wearing our masks, in fact 75% of people diagnosed don't continue mainly because of the mask but that is their loss unfortunately, I'm one of the rare ones that love it because it has saved my life and inproved my quality of life so much. You sound like you have the right attitude as you have been using it for 3 years, I'm coming up t my 2 year anniversary. Do you have any issues with the mask apart from the actually wearing like leaks, comfort etc?
