I have had my Fisher and Paykel Simplus mask for about five years and have been very happy with it, until about two weeks ago. I did my usually weekly clean of mask, tube etc. That night I noticed that the mask was noisy when I breathe out. Since then it has either woken me or prevented me from getting to sleep each night.
I have since replaced the cushion but that has made no difference. Does anyone have any ideas of the cause? I have no leakage from the mask according to Dreammapper.
It isn't leakage from around the cushion making the noise but more a noise when I breathe out into the mask itself.
I have posted this question on the Facebook group but thought I'd ask it here too as I know that there are many knowledgeable people on here who may no be on Facebook.

Sorry Judith I or others either didn't see this or didn't have an answer, but as per our conversation in the Facebook Group and for the sake of anyone wondering who sees this post, I'll confirm that you found out it was your bacterial filter causing the noise which is now resolved :)
