Sleep disturbance - any suggestions
Good morning
I have sleep apnea which is treated with Resmed Air 10 Auto and my AHI is less than 1 regularly and under control with 0 leak. This would suggest my apnea is under control.
Recently I have been awoken during the night in a strange state which I can only describe as a mixture of dizziness/hallucinations/head fuzziness/eye or sight disturbance as if I am high or out my face on drugs. I do not take drugs, drink nor smoke and my hydration was a good level.
Does anyone experience similar or know what the likely cause of this is?
Today I am absolutely shattered as if I have hardly slept. I felt I woke regularly during the night, had my bed sheets pulled off at one point and generally feel crap today and literally fighting to stay awake!

David, you need to check both your mask and hose as this could be a loss of pressure or even co2 retention if it's a new symptom:-
HOSE - check carefully that no holes have formed in the tube and also check at both ends of it to make sure there hasn't been a collapse. I'll show you an image of what I mean.
MASK - Check for any damage and make sure that you're not blocking any of the holes/exhalation ports on the mask which would cause co2 retention.

Sorry it wasn't anything simple, although still worth checking the mask in case there's an exhale flap sticking if the mask is faulty. Perhaps call the clinic as if they're monitoring your therapy they may be able to see at problem at their end when looking at your data. Re CPAP those kind of problems can be a sign of co2 retention, but if all seems find with your CPAP therapy I'd get an appointment with your GP.
