II am impressed with this hospital as they carry out tests first to see what will be needed before just doing
surgery.

The next step is sleep nasoendoscopy or SNE - a new cutting-edge technique to diagnose the actual site of obstruction. It is a minor procedure, where the patient is given a low-dose anesthetic to mimick natural sleep conditions when apnea occurs. During SNE, a flexible endoscope is briefly passed from the nose into the upper airway and real time snoring and apnea can be observed. The patient’s unique anatomic pattern of upper airway collapse is localized, and may include one or more of the following sites: soft palate and tonsils, tongue base, epiglottis and sidewalls of the throat. This information is then used as a directed guide for selecting appropriate surgical treatment
They then use a robitic equipment which is less invasive

Hi Carolyn,
I was as excited as you when I saw what could be done.
After numerous phone calls to USA I then sent several emails and finally got the ball rolling, or should I say walking!
It is 2 weeks since I started and the only clue about prices is detailed below.
I do not know a lot about USA prices and would expect them to be expensive but this seems extraordinary, could any one in the USA advise if the think these prices are the norm for their country.
