Trapped Wind
Hi dose anyone else on cpap suffer with trapped wind ? I get back pains lower when I purp or pass wind it tends to go ! Just wondered if its a side affect ....thanks stu .. And all sleep well

This is a common problem Stu, and one which I suffered from a lot at first. Some mornings I couldn't even stand up straight due to the pain. Lots of people get it when first on CPAP and this usually does go away. However, it can still come back from time to time - often as a result of too high a pressure, mask leaks, gulping air etc. Take a look at this video on the forum http://hope2sleepguide.co.uk/video/get-rid-of-burping-and-gaswind
