Before I started CPAP, my AHI was 36. over the last few months my pressure has been raised from 8, 12, 15, and now to 16. My OA has reduced now from something silly to near enough zero. What…Continue

"That is a normal CA reading. Insignificant events such as swallowing, biting, or breath pauses can be caounted as CAs or hypops ffrom time to time. As long as your AHI is under 5 I would not worry."

"I'm not a doctor, and I'm sure one will be along to help! However it's my understanding that normal CPAP isn't particularly effective on central apnoea events. BiPAP and ASV are used for helping treat them."
