Hello
I have an NHS issued ResMed AirSense 10 with heated humidifier. In the last couple of weeks, it's developed an annoying noise, when I inhale. It bothers me a little and my partner a lot! I sometimes get problems if the water container in the humidifier isn't snug, and have to re-seat it to avoid various noises but this is a new problem. I've tried a different mask, and a different hose, but this hasn't helped. It's hardly noticeable when the machine is first turned on, but as the pressure ramps up, so does the noise. It appears to be the silicone coupling between the machine and the water tank, as when it all gets too much, I can remove the tank, run my fingers around the silicone couplings inside the machine, and reattach the tank, and things improve, for a while. My sleep lab are not familiar with this problem. The machine is 19 months old. Is this a known problem?
Thanks
Jonathan
