"Welcome.  I was diagnosed in 2009 at 80+ events per hour, but was discharged by the sleep clinic many years ago, on the basis that I was "self managing".  I bought an APAP machine, which allows me to see how well I am doing, and…"

"I know nothing about TMJ, and have no experience with this Sleepweaver mask https://www.cpap.com/productpage/sleepweaver-anew-full-face-cpap-mask but might that work for you?  I carry a Sleepweaver nasal mask when I am travelling as an…"

"After many (many!) years on CPAP, I can now open my mouth and even talk, whilst the CPAP is blowing air up my nose.  I guess it's trained my airways."

"Hi It may be worth a chat with your sleep clinic to see if they have a different mask you could try.  And Kath's mask liners may help (I hear, I've never had a problem).  Overtightening your mask can be a cause of leaks…"

"Hi Emma, Wow you're having a tough time.  All I can say is keep pestering the hospital and ask them to put you to the top of the list due to their mistake.  I find being "persistent but distressed" works better than being…"

"Those adrenaline shots when you stop breathing and your brain wakes you up can certainly send you dashing to the loo.  CPAP worked for me too (diagnosed 2008). Great night's sleep on night one, and only got better."

"Hi Stuart.  Reading what you say, you had sleep apnoea, you are being treated, and therefore you are now symptom-free.  Perhaps your social worker doesn't know what sleep apnoea is, and is simply covering their own backside.  Do…"
