Indeed 3D printing looks like it could be useful in many areas of medical devices, the idea of a custom fitting CPAP mask is great though, especially if you could also print them at home (give it a few more years and 3D printers will be as common on the high street and as easy to use as photocopiers were). Imagine working from images taken from a 3D camera, send them to a designer, they turn them into a model which you upload and print parts from your printer as required.
