Yes Rock, there was a 'little' wedding over here yesterday..... am suprised you heard about it :-D
I'm not sure why it was on a Friday (apart from it was St Catherine's Day), but the royal weddings do tend to take place on a weekday, and we get a public holiday for them. To make it even better, there's another public holiday on Monday, so most of the UK's on a 4 day break!
