Oh I see what you mean Terry. I thought you meant you could see the reply I was typing to Mike on here before I'd hit the Add Reply button LOL!
Thanks for letting me know my reply was published. I sent it at 10am but it didn't appear after 2 attempts so I gave up. Glad it appeared as people are under the wrong impression you have to be overweight to have OSA.
They sent it to me and it attaches to my cpap so it is one unit Kath.

Which humidifier have you got Mike? Is it one that attaches to your CPAP or a separate unit?
Mike reed said:Hi kath yes recevied it yesterday afternoon on the humidifier itself there is a round dial with a blue light in the middle it goes from 1 to 6 do you know if this is the heat setting as i have no instructions with the humidifier. I did phone papworth technical dept yesterday as instructed and they were very helpfull but i forgot to ask about the round dial and also forgot to call them today lol .
Kath Hope said:Yes, it's great when these articles are reported, as it's helping create awareness out there. I 'tweeted' it earlier, and tried to leave a comment on the article saying that slim people and children are always at risk. For some reason my comment isn't displaying. Maybe I'm banned LOL.
Have you got your humidifier yet Mike?
The dial will be to increase or decrease humidification. It's a case of trial and error and will need adjusting as temperatures/humidity in your bedroom changes. See how you feel from last night, adjust it accordingly. Hope you find it helps.

I have recived a letter from papworth explaining when i was monitored that i had a mean saturation of 94.7% and a desaturation index of 4.54 i do not know what these terms mean can anyone tell me if this is the norm
I have also been told of a legal obligation to inform the DVLA of my diagnosis and treatment i was never told this when i was discharged from papworth did anyone else have to do this and does it mean i will not be allowed to drive please.
Thanks Mike.
