Hose Lift
I had refrained from buying a hose lift as I thought it would be no different to the hose coming up from behind the bed head. I was still suffering with hose drag and rain out in my hose even though using a hose huggy which had been installed. The huggy had reduced this phenomenon but not eradicated it. So I thought I would try the hose lift and was very pleasantly surprised to find I now no longer suffered with rain out and the difference in having the hose supported above head height had removed the drag, also consequential unnecessary mask leak.
The hose lift is lightweight in construction and folds neatly away into manageable sections which are held together by elastic running through its centre as in the same style as a folding walking stick. To fold, simply pull sections apart and for travel place in the supplied bag. Whilst it is lightweight in construction it is very stable when the base is located under the top of a mattress.
If you are suffering with your mask pulling and dragging or air leakage, it is worth having one of these devices as it really isn't a gimmick but a significant enhancement, that I believe should be supplied with all CPAP machines.
I would recommend this to anyone who uses a face mask as it will make a positive difference to your sleep experience.

Good post snoreyhead as a reminder to existing users or to newbies. I made my own which works for me but buying one is not expensive for the benefits you get. I also suggest mask liners for anyone using a full face mask.

The hose lift is a wonderful invention and I'd recommend one to anybody who hasn't yet discovered how great they are. They reduce leaks and keep the hose out of the way while you're asleep.

Glad you like the Hose Lift, Snoreyhead. I knew you would, and I agree with you that it should be part of our equipment - Mask, Machine + Hose Lift. It's not just the fact that it elevates the tubing above us, it's the way it easily swings to the right and the left as we move about. Of course, the added benefit is that it's so light and easy to carry with us on trips away (certainly lighter than my make-up bag lol).
