New to cpap and the nights seem longer
Hi all. I'm on day 3 of cpap and I don't know if it's me but the nights seem so much longer. Before the nights felt so short and I would wake up thinking no too soon I don't want to get up more sleep I need more sleep. But the last two night feel so long like they just go on and on and I feel like I am asleep for more hours in bed when it's just the same number of hours as before. Does anyone else feel this or just me :)

That's brought back memories to me Julia, as I remember feeling like that too once I'd got stuck into CPAP therapy (I had some teething problems at first). I used to wake up feeling like I'd only slept for an hour or so. The dog didn't know what had hit him at first when he was taken out for his first walk early morning, instead of having to wait for me to come round after 4 coffees LOL.

Julia, I still get that feeling even after a year of treatment but it is much better than before treatment as now I can actually breathe. I suggest you just set your alarm clock for the time you want to get up and try to relax and go with it, good luck.
