Hi Marion, I've just joined up and have been told by Kath you're also a long-term NIPPY user (or have been in the past) and have written a book about it.  I've been using a NIPPY-2 for 16 years and am fine with it now, though I did have teething problems for some time, like most I'm sure, and keep a good supply of flannels in my bedside drawer as drooling has always been a big problem for me (hated the chin straps which always ended up soaked!). Kath mentioned that she thought you'd moved on to another machine and I'm curious to know which one, if you don't mind sharing?  I visit Papworth every year and always plead with them to try me on another (lighter) machine, but none seem to "do the job" - I have combination apnoea after a stroke.  I hate the weight and size of this one and am worrying about having to use public transport for me and my husband to get a few days away in the summer as he's just had to revoke his driving licence due to his own ill-health. Anyway, I do hope you're keeping well and would love to hear from you when you have a minute.

Soft Cap

I was curious whether anyone has used the CPAP Total Face Masks and could pass on their observations? I've been using an Airfit F20 for years which is fine apart from the permanent red mark on the bridge of my nose, and have recently tried the…See More

Pressure waking me up. Belching and wind

HiI'm using the prisma smart max machine. Initially I was just on a nasal mask, this changed as I was sleeping with my mouth open. I then went to face and nose mask and complained of bad wind and belching. Sometimes the pressure in the night was…See More
