Has anyone had a sleep study, in hospital. I am trying so hard but my api's are still 20+. I have spoken to the sleep nurse and she doesn't seem overly concerned. But I am. I have asked if I can raise my starting pressure. She wasn't keen but said if I could see how to do it without messing with anything else, I could try. However I have to see her this week to collect a new cushion, for my mask, and she would rather I waited until then, and take my machine,a resimed bi-pap auto, with me and she would change it for me. I want to take control of my treatment, with her help. Surely if I slightly change my levels, maybe weekly, I would get better results that sticking to a pressure that does not work, for months, until my next scheduled appointment.
