I had one this morning, exactly the same. The expression "I picked interest on you" is a give-away that English is NOT his first language and that his name is therefore unlikely to be Joseph Mclaughlin!

Thanks Rob, Norma who emailed us, and everyone else who alerted us to this. Unfortunately, forums can attract these trouble makers to forums and we do absolutely everything we can to not accept them in the first place. However, some of them are clever in how they sneak in (not clever enough to do real damage though or survive long) and this is also thanks to our members alerting us.
See below the screenshot of his joining questions which looked as if he was a genuine sleep apnoea patient (maybe he is, as sadly there are occasional bad ones amongst us). Oh and by the way, that's not the email address he joined up with and if I was of a different type I'd expose the real one so that you could spam him instead lol. He was also called James Palmer when he joined us so changed his name after joining, and he is now blocked, along with his IP address so he can't try re-joining under a different name.
The most important thing to confirm to you all is that HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY MEMBER'S EMAIL ADDRESS. The email notification you may have also got through was from our own forum's email address - mail@hope2sleepguide.co.uk letting you know there was a comment waiting from you.
For anyone with a Facebook account do consider joining our Private Group which is very active and behind closed doors. We have the forum mainly for people who don't use Facebook or who want to sell/swap CPAP accessories to each other https://www.facebook.com/groups/hope2sleepcharity/Thanks again for helping us, and sorry for the inconvenience (I too could have done without this today).
