BUMP

(Thought I'd bump this post up to the top as a reminder to people in the area who may like to go).

Today's event was a great success, and both speakers were very good.  Just as importantly was listening to how many OSA sufferers had gained a lot from the meeting, and getting together with others.  There were lots of people I spoke to who needed so much help, and if only they were on the internet they could have had this help a long time ago on this forum and on others.  Yet another reason why these support groups are invaluable.  It was lovely to meet 'in the flesh' a few of you today too, and I hope I can meet many more of you at events closer to where you live.  Well done to the St James Group organisers, as I know first-hand just how much work goes on behind the scenes planning these events.  For any who missed it and want to become members of the Leeds Group, this is their website http://www.stjamessasg.org.uk/

Many thanks to those that arranged this event as I found it a most informal informative time. It allayed some of my concerns and gave me advice that was new and refreshing to hear.

Anyone in the Worthing Area, there's a Sleep Apnoea Support Meeting at the Worthing Hospital this month:-

Worthing Sleep Apnoea Club is holding a meeting on 30thMarch 2012 between 3pm - 4.30pm in the Postgraduate Medical Centre at Worthing Hospital. This is a social gathering for everyone to meet up and have a chat with coffee and cake. All are welcome.

Worthing Hospital has approximately 920 patients who are using CPAP machines and have about 450 referrals a year.

For more inofrmation on the event please call Lynnette Burgoyne RGN BSc(Hons), Sleep Health Advisor, on 01903 20511 ext 5105 or 5801.
