I have received a message from this lady who apparently comes from Cambodia and she says that She has important information for me and I should send her a private email to a Thailand Yahoo address. I noticed that Mike Smith and Dave Chappell have declined her advances smelling the same rat I have. Sounds very much like a love scam of some description. I have blocked future messages from her, is this correct procedure for this site

Sorry David. She signed up yesterday and most spammers are easy to spot, but this particular person was very clever in that she answered the sign-up questions as if she really was a sufferer, even naming masks she uses that only a sufferer would know. Have blocked her now and thanks for alerting me.

No need to apologise this one is a veteran, unfortunately her English grammar or lack of it gave her away together with the Thai email address. My last job before retirement was as an IT support engineer and learned how to spot them. Her profile was plausible, obviously copied from others. The Resmed Autoset S9 was probably mine and the mask was someone else. Clever as a cartload of monkeys'. Mike Smith and Dave Chappell were first to spot it as a wrong un.
