It certainly looks very interesting, but I suppose we will have to wait and see if it gets medically approved. Could work well for those of us who find most masks impossible to keep in place,

Depending on cost this could be very useful for those who need CPAP on long haul flights etc.

The company received the funding they required and whilst there has been lots of excitement about this possibility, there's also been a lot of skepticism about it.  Having said that, Colin Sullivan wasn't taken serious when he first came up with the idea of CPAP.  We'll watch and wait to reserve judgement, but if it does prove to work it will be a good option, and especially for people when travelling.

This is a crowdfunding project.  I would have reservations after one such kickstarter project has come under critism:

I have read on this item that there are concerns.  See the comments in youtube.  Kickstarter projects need a demonstratable working model that can be upscaled.  Something that the Zano drone did not have and broke the kickstarter rules.

If you watch the video on youtube there is no working model.  Also the technology looks to me as very suspect.  Nano blowers will produce the same amount of pressure that the current cpap machines produce now.  If you look at the nano blowers it is virtually impossible that row upon row of machines on a micro scale are going even produce a breeze.  I think not.

I would avoid any investment.  I dont think we see this technology anytime now.

We've spoken at great length about this in the Facebook Group and I also wouldn't invest any money in it and to air on the side of caution.  Like I said earlier, Colin Sullivan himself wasn't taken seriously with his new CPAP theory so we could be proved wrong so shall wait and see.  A USA sleep tech I rate did a video about this recently

It would be great if it worked, but I have to be a bit sceptical because it just doesn't seem physically possible for such a tiny device to deliver all that a conventional CPAP can. Personally I am convinced that although CPAP is regarded as the gold standard, it is far from ideal as a therapy and medical science has to find an alternative. I think the future could lie in the devices that stimulate the airways electrically, like the Inspire in the US, which has to be surgically implanted, and the non-invasive device that I had the privilege to try out at Guys Hospital last.year.
