I'm under the care of an amazing NHS clinic in Nottingham, but I just don't seem to be able to find a mask that I can wear successfully all night. I'm on my eighth mask now (they let me take a different one each time!) but I still wake up in pain around the bridge of my nose. I had to give up with any full face masks because I sleep quite heavily on the side of my face so I get air leaks squirting into my eyes. Reverted back to a nose mask which doesn't leak but it's just so uncomfortable. I've bought fabric sheets and a silicone nose band but still I'm struggling with it all. Does anyone have any other suggestions???

Hi Steve and welcome to the group. Sounds like you're with a good clinic who are trying hard to help you. I too struggled many years ago when first on CPAP and I also am prone to nasal bridge problems but need a full face mask. The 2 that work well for me are the Respironics Amara View http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/amara-view-full-face-minimal-contact-cp... and the Respironics Fitlife http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/fitlife-full-total-face-cpap-mask.html as both avoid the nasal bridge area. Did you try either of these from the clinic? The other 2 masks I can think of would be the Hybrid or the Resmed Mirage Liberty. If you mouth breathe you do need to use a full face mask (or a chin strap with a nasal one) otherwise you won't be getting good therapy. Most of us sleep on our sides, and if you can try sleeping on the edge of your pillow or with a soft one this helps.
