Great to hear of your positive benefits Jo, and a few tweaks, tips and/or comfort products can make such a huge difference. Speak with your clinic about the feeling of lack of air, as they should be able to adjust the settings for you. For problems with the straps etc., there are comfort products and tips over on the website here http://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/tips-for-problems-sleeping-with-cpap-or...
Hi Jo, Your machine is not giving enough pressure if it is a CPAP there may be something not quite right with it.
If it is an APAP (Automatic) the low pressure is far to low and should be adjusted to a higher pressure.
There is a pressure that most people that use the ramp on their machine will fine that the pressure is not high enough or low enough for easy breathing. If it is an APAP you have, it is sitting right on the pressure that some find it difficult to breath when it is on low pressure.
Phone the clinic.
The Sleep Nurse is your first port of call.
