Hi Ted. A product like Milton would be fine to use on the tube once a week but I'd refrain from using it on the mask unless you have say a bad infection, as it could damage the soft cushioning on the mask if used regularly. I personally now use the SoClean sanitiser which takes care of the tube and mask, although it's not cheap - however, very beneficial for people prone to recurrent sinus/respiratory infections. I use the CPAP Wipes for removing facial oils, and I now use the SoClean Liquid Solution once a week. It's an individual thing re cleaning, depending on cost, but the important thing is not to use any product containing lots of moisturisers, alcohol and other damaging ingredients. Baby wipes aren't recommended and neither is Fairy Liquid, which is kind to our hands, but not to the masks.
Hope this helps.
I just use soapy water from the soap I do the dishes with and had no problems at all.
An alcohol free baby wipe is fine for quick wipes every day on a mask.
However, masks do need a good clean every week.
Be careful with some vents on masks as they can have a mold culture growing in the slots/holes.
