Hi Lee

I'm just trying to understand.....do you mean you're using the Resmed S9 machine now and asking whether the Philips DreamStation is less noisy?  Neither of the machines should be noisy though.

Hi Kath yes that’s it, my Resmed S9+humidifier machine is very noisy in I can hear my breathing in/out at the machine very noisy. Had my annual check at Papworth and she said the Dreamstation is noisy to, she has had lots of phone calls from people saying so

Well I sleep next to my husband who uses the DreamStation and there's no noise at all unless he gets a mask leak.  We also don't hear of people complaining about the Resmed S9, although people who have been moved to the Airsense 10 do say the noise is less.  Could it be mask leaks you're having?  Are you on high pressures?

Hi no it’s not the mask leaking, the very nice lady said she would order me a Dreamstation if I wanted but said about it also being noisy so I thought I’d ask people that have this machine also is the Dreamstation a better machine ?, can you see how your doing on an app ? Many thanks

The DreamStation should definitely not be noisy and they've particularly done some tests on this aspect and state it's quieter than Resmed.  You can see how your doing, re AHI, leaks etc on the CPAP Pro and Auto versions, but not on the basic CPAP.  You can see the CPAP Pro and Auto DreamStations on our website for further info https://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/philips-respironics-dreamstation-pro-c...

Also I have moved my Resmed so hopefully it will be quiet now

Sorry Lee as missed your replies, but hope things are going better for you now.

Pressure waking me up. Belching and wind

HiI'm using the prisma smart max machine. Initially I was just on a nasal mask, this changed as I was sleeping with my mouth open. I then went to face and nose mask and complained of bad wind and belching. Sometimes the pressure in the night was…See More
