Sleep Apnoea Forum Bringing Help + Support to the Patient

My Breas Z1 machine has suddenly started showing error 33. 
Having contacted my supplier in the Uk it turns out that Breas will not repair it . I’ve only had about 4 years max. I feel that this is terrible service from the manufacturer to not support a device after so short a time.

Although having been offered a discount from Breas I do not feel inclined to put my business their way again.

Luckily due to COVID we are not going abroad at present and any holidays in the uk I will take my dream station.

Heck, that's not lasted long David, and I assume you've not used it much either (more for travel).  Might be worth saving up for the DreamStation Go which has most features the same as your DreamStation.  We sell it at the charity and my hubby uses that one for travel.  It is expensive, but is excellent https://www.hope2sleep.co.uk/DreamStationGo-CPAP.html

No Kath it’s not and disappointing. I’m holding fire to buy a travel one till next year when (if) we go abroad, Until then I’ll use my dream station as I won’t have carry it.

I have sent an email to Breas Hq. Staying that probably it’s had no more than 6 months use and under the sale of goods act it’s not fit for purpose or should be replaced under warranty.

ill see what response I get

Good luck and definitely stress you only used it for travel so had very little use.

Poor service, did they say whet the error was?

I would go elsewhere.
