Sleep Apnoea Forum Bringing Help + Support to the Patient

I thought I would go in a different direction. As we all know being happy and content is just as big a part of a healthy lifestyle as sleep, diet or exercise. My favorite thing to do is torment my girls. We tend to be a witty family. I also like to play vollyball and tennis. Im not bad at vball and am horrible at tennis. I used to play golf until I decided that my clubs looked better in the river than in my cart. Long story short no more golf.

I have 3 brothers making my life very competitive. We play everything from sports to online gaming in an effort to best one another. Other than that I enjoy helping others get back to good sleep. This in itself has become a fulltime job. :)

Life is short so have lots of fun!

Good idea Rock....... I like going to the gym now, yet before my days on CPAP I'd have had no physical energy.  I get a kick out of trying to beat my last score as to how many calories I've burnt off :-D  I also like visiting hot sunny places, seeing as I'm not lucky to live in a place where the sun shines most of the year ;-)  Am saving up for the USA!!  Music is also my passion, and like you I love helping people sleep more comfortably with their CPAPs and encouraging them to use them, so as to ensure a more healthier, happier life with good energy :-)

Oh, and I love surfing..........on the web I mean :-D

Opera, clarinet, Leicester Tigers and England RFC, making my dwindling money supply work harder, defending freedom (just started an anti-compulsory water meter campaign), discussion, mickey taking, CPAP forums/fora, admiring young people, my grandchildren, being cool on hot, sunny days and warm on cool or cold ones, amateur psychology and personal development, Marmite on toast, fortified chocolates, single estate Darjeeling teas - oh! my cats and friends.

All in any order that feels good at the time!

im involved in Church as im a Born Again Christian! im in the Choir even though im not that good,LOL..iv got a border Collie and i Dog walk loads,my 3 kids r amazing and love goin out with them,my best friend nikki of 16yrs we go our together shopping and cinema ,meals out...my hubby works hard and he's brill its our Wedding Anniversary tomoz (fri 2nd sep) 11yrs of marrige and very very happy!! i feel blessed and lucky for everything i have!! :)
....and of course we all have fun with dealing with our CPAP therapy.  Hubby's just got in from work and said he'd had a weird dream last night...he dreamt he was working in an area with air conditioning, but it was far too cold and he kept trying to find places to escape from the cold.  Next thing is, his alarm woke him for work at 5 am and he woke up to cold air blasting from my mask on his back, and he reckons that was the cause of his dream LOL.  Incidentally, I was lovely and warm ;)
Thats funny as i can relate,my hubby as blast problems too..He says its so annoying, although i go to sleep not facing him,i always end up facing him!! lol...

I am the oldest of 4 boys raised by my mom and her 5 sisters. This is a lifestyle that breeds broad shoulders. I can take it.

Another dog lover.  There's a fair few of us on here Mary and Joe Barnes, one of the members on this forum, is a professional dog trainer so I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing a few tips ;).

I have a seven month old puppy and a lot of work is going into training him to be a well behaved dog.  We use Victoria Stillwells method of positive reinforcement.  I just bought the first season of her show, but found out I can't watch it with the puppy in the house because the barking on the show makes him bark, LOL..  I also have a seven and a half year old beagle mix and walking the two of them (separately, can't handle them together) twice a day keeps me busy.  I   have an aquarium- nearly empty right now while I wait to make a trip to the fish store.  I like reading.  My garden has suffered this summer as I've been so busy with the puppy.  My partner and I like to have two or four people over for a meal and a game of poker or canasta.  We also like to go out to eat, but don't go that often.  We love it when our friends invite us over for a meal or games.  There are some shows I love on TV- Suits, The Closer, and The Mentalist, to name a few.

We had friends over Thursday night for a birthday party and I gave everybody dog treats and had them put the dogs through their paces.  Enjoyed that.

1st time and I’ve failed the mask leak test

Hi everyone, today I received my rental kit - prisma smart max, plus a Philips dreamwear mask which I’ve been wearing unconnected to try and get used to it. I just did a mask fit test using a medium mask and got a constant red/orange leak warning…See More
