"Eric, just in case, check the mask's exhale valve hasn't got stuck in an either closed or open position.  Also check your hose at both ends to see if when it twists there's a blockage.  Check there's no holes in it too.…"

Hi everyone, I have been on apap for 13 years now and thought I had experienced everything until recently. I normally use a nasal mask, my favourite is a Resprionics Comfort (not blue gel) which is a discontinued product. I was put on a course of antibiotics for a UTI and 4 days in I started expelling air through my tightly closed mouth, every couple of minutes it forced my lips to open and close.
