I bought this in America a few years ago and only used it for travel, it is very compact with a small footprint. It comes complete with a heated humidifier and has only 815 recorded hours. It can be used in AutoAjust or fixed pressure cpap mode, it also operates with 12 volt dc input (lead not supplied). This machine has UK electrical connections. It has never been exposed to pets or smoking. I have The Clinician’s Guide and The User’s Manual in downloaded pdfs and can email these to buyer. The…See More

Extreme Dry Mouth

As posted before since August I Have been on Tamsulosin Hydrochloride for BPH. Unfortunately the twin side effects of dry mouth and nasal congestion have continued to escalate and are now serious. The nasal congestion prevents me from using a nasal mask anymore so I have aquired several new full face new style masks (dreamwear, resmed airfit and the hybrid) these are great and I end up mouth breathing. However, constantly mouth breathing whilst using cpap creates a serious medical condition…See More

Repeated air blowing out of mouth

Hi everyone, I have been on apap for 13 years now and thought I had experienced everything until recently. I normally use a nasal mask, my favourite is a Resprionics Comfort (not blue gel) which is a discontinued product. I was put on a course of antibiotics for a UTI and 4 days in I started expelling air through my tightly closed mouth, every couple of minutes it forced my lips to open and close. This happened early morning and there was no more sleep that night even sitting up with mask on. I…See More

Obviously I am an elderly male with enlarged prostate and have been on cpap for the last 13 years. My urologist has prescribed TAMUREX (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride) so I researched it and found this review "I'm a 58 years old. I used to get up 4 or 5 times every night. Flomax (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride)   has decreased this number to 1 or 2. However, because of the side effects I'm stopping immediately. I have sleep apnea and Flomax has caused nasual congestion making it difficult to breath. On top…See More

Airsense 10 -humidifier runs dry
