Exciting times Simon

How did it go Simon? Intrigued, as I haven't come across anyone else using this mask yet.

hi Kath

wanted to give it 2 nights to make sure it was no fluke !! so here goes

well first time you put the mask on there is an immediate and instant feel that it is lighter and not so uncomfortable, it hardly feels like you have a mask on, i have gone from a medium fit to a large one with the air mask and it certainly is a better fit

it goes on easily, the straps do not feel obtrusive in any way, with my old mask i had to have it on so damn tight just to get a good fit, so that i could sleep. with the new mask i hardly had to tighten these straps to get a good face fit

with a new design for the air escape once the mask is on, it is also a lot quieter than my previous one, the mask seems to inflate slightly to get the area around nose and mouth to seal.

i could also sleep a lot easier on my side with this new mask , so in all its very good news for the full face mask wearer

some downsides maybe the new way to clip on straps, they just go over a plastic latch, how this will last over time remains to be seen, however the straps on the forehead seem to hold longer, on my last one they were forever coming out of the plastic when ever i put the mask on

plus big win no nasty red blotched or sore forehead or cheeks for last 2 monrings

if you get the chance go for this mask is all i can say

i will be looking a my stats later to see leak reports etc, but all seems ok and i was not awoken at any time from blowing air

Great review thanks Simon, and glad to hear you appear to have found a good mask for you.  Hope this continues

update on mask a

Did you mean to post a status Simon, as nothing's showing?

hi yes i did dont know what happened there well it

keeps deleting post and saving as 15 minute edit

my third attempt

it was post to say that after few weeks in there is only one downside to the mask and that is its loose fitting on face makes sleeping on your side difficult as the mask slips and air blows on to face and eyes

this one negative is far exceeded by all the plus for me

Not sure why you've had problems posting Simon. I've got major problems with computer and wifi today so having to work from mobile phone grrr... Anyway good to hear you're still finding the mask a good one for you :)

CPAP Total Face Mask

I was curious whether anyone has used the CPAP Total Face Masks and could pass on their observations? I've been using an Airfit F20 for years which is fine apart from the permanent red mark on the bridge of my nose, and have recently tried the…See More

"I've been using the Resmed Airmini for about 5 years when travelling - overall lightweight and small and can be controlled by an App, but it does produce a loud whistling/wind sound for me which hasn't been reduced by an inline filter or…"

Pressure waking me up. Belching and wind

HiI'm using the prisma smart max machine. Initially I was just on a nasal mask, this changed as I was sleeping with my mouth open. I then went to face and nose mask and complained of bad wind and belching. Sometimes the pressure in the night was…See More

1st time and I’ve failed the mask leak test

Hi everyone, today I received my rental kit - prisma smart max, plus a Philips dreamwear mask which I’ve been wearing unconnected to try and get used to it. I just did a mask fit test using a medium mask and got a constant red/orange leak warning…See More
