Hi,
As before i write not as a sufferer but a wife of one. My husband is having trouble with feeling bloated and as he describes it indigestion. After a year being on treatment he's been doing well could his cpap be causing this?

I still suffer this on and off, mostly it is caused by swallowing air, and relieved in one direction or another....

Giovanna, what brand and model mask is he using?

Not much can be done to prevent it in my experience, it comes and goes. Avoiding late night eating seems to help.

Most likely his pressure is too high. Sometimes when as pt's get used to treatment their pressure needs decrease somewhat.

The pressure had to be increased because he was feeling dizzy in the morning and it helped he's fine in the morning.

Also, do you know if his mouth is opening with his nasal mask, as this can cause it too? A chin strap or full face mask should help if this is the case.

Did the bloating start immediately the pressure was raised? I've just remembered you mentioned to me your husband had lost some weight, so it might need adjusting again a bit lower.

No it only started about a 2 week ago. He has never had bother before. He's lost over a stone! His pressure is at 6????
