Sleep weaver
I have been using a sleep weaver mask for 3 months now and love it. It is so very comfortable and the next thing to not wearing a mask. However it does easily leak. Does anyone else have this problem and have any tips?

Margaret, I have heard the sleep weaver is not very good if you have a high pressure, do you know what your pressure(s) are set at?

My pressure is quite high but I don't know exactly what it is. The weaver is so very comfortable that I am willing to put up with the leaks. Also because it is cloth, there is no digging into the skin anywhere and no raining.

I undderstand Margaret, unfortunately you cant have it both ways, when do you go back for a check up of your data, you will want to make sure the leaks arent too high or your treatment may not be as effective as it should. Depending on the type and brand of CPAP you have, you can get free software to look at your own data daily if you want.

Margaret, I agree with Terry regarding your high leaks with the SleepWeaver...just make sure it's not compromising your therapy. I was in the same position when I trialled the Wisp - it was so comfortable, but the leaks were high due to me being a mouth breather and my AHI shot up

Hello, Margaret. I have been using Sleepweaver masks for some time, as like you I find them so comfortable. I am using an APAP machine rather than a fixed pressure CPAP so I don't find leaks too much of a problem. With a lot of masks it can be more comfortable to have the hose hooked up, but with the Sleepweaver I prefer the hose to be down.
One other thing I've found. I don't get as many months use from the Sleepweaver as I would with other masks. It seems to be less effective after 4-5 months and definitely needs changing by 6 months. In spite of this it is still my favourite mask by far.
