Hi there,

If your m/c has an SD card or a card that can be read by a standard card reader, you can use the sleepyhead software that can be obtained from http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/

This will read all the data from your m/c and present it in a form that can be easily understood (mainly graphs)

Hope this is some help

Derek.

Hi Brownie, been waiting for you to post, download the software as per Dereks link and if you don't have a card reader, take your simcard from your machine and get one that fits. Make sure you put the simcard back in your machine. When you have done that let me know and I'll show you how to import the data onto your computer. Kath may need to help as I think she has the same machine as you, mine is a different brand. Good to have you on here.

I hope you don't mind me joining in but after reading your posts I has a look and found my sd card. I won't be able to do anything silly like erase data by using the sleepyhead software wilI? I have a ResMed s9 escape.

Hello Judith,

It is highly unlikely that you will erase any data from your card, but to be on the safe side, SD cards have a small switch on the side which will write protect the card if you slide  the switch to the back. Some cards are marked with lock/unlock symbols but not all. Don't forget to set the card back to unlock before you reinstall it

Derek.

Thank you Derek, I have had a look but there is no data showing other than usage, session times and preAHIs, apnoeas or leakage. Must be the model that I have from the hospital. I found the switch to protect the card but don't think that I am actually going to need it afetr all but good to know about such things for saving data in future.

Judith - Unfortunately the Escape model won't show anything useful, other than usage and leaks :(

Brownie34 - Good to see your first post on here, and like Terry said, we're here to help so shout out if you get stuck :)

Judith-Ann, just checking are you talking about the data on your machine, I have a Resmed S9 Auto, which is the model above yours. I get that data but can see the data from the Simcard. The info you are getting is just as good, the AHI's are the most important figure are yours below 5. The Sleepyhead software is good if you want to analysis the data more with graphs etc.

As far as I know Terry, it's the 'Escape' that doesn't show the data - the S9 'Auto' and 'Elite' do though.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Brownie, did you get anywhere with the card reader?
